Guru Kashi University (GKU

Guru Kashi University (GKU), located in the serene rural setting of Talwandi Sabo in Punjab, is a private university established in 2011 under Punjab Act No. 37. It is run by the Balaji Education Trust and spans more than 100 acres. The university is recognized by UGC and holds multiple accreditations including ICAR for its agricultural courses, NCTE for education, PCI for pharmacy, and BCI for law. GKU offers a wide range of more than 50 programs across streams such as engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, management, science, law, and humanities. It is known for its residential campus, having separate hostels for boys and girls. The university runs on a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and supports a learning-outcome-based curriculum, with a robust placement cell and strong industry connections.
