Overview of Chaitanya University, Hyderabad
Chaitanya is a 33 year old Institute and has obtained the most prestigious and commendable Deemed to be University status by University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in the year 2019. From the past one decade, only five colleges (2 government and 3 private) across the country were given this status. In the entire country only 126 Institutions were given a status of Deemed to be University. On submission of our proposals, Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, ICR Division, Government of India and the UGC permitted our University shifted from Hanamkonda, Warangal to Vicinity Hyderabad vide Gazette notification dated 21st July 2023.
Foreign students from 15 countries and students from other states feel secure, and they are assured of an unhampered academic schedule, enabling them to complete their course of study in time to leave for their countries.

The University has instituted University Research Fellowships (URF's) for Ph.D. Scholars to encourage the Meritorious Students. The Gold Medalists in PG are eligible for URFs.
The AICTE-Student Learning Assessment (PARAKH) and Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) (ranked our Institution with 279th Rank out of 4347 Institutions.
To provide classroom learning an exciting way, enable students to learn and explore new concepts using technology and create a more dynamic learning experience, our University installed Smart Interactive Board in classrooms.
