- 500g chicken
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp biryani masala
- Whole spices (bay leaf
- cardamom
- cloves)
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- Salt to taste
Step 1: Marinate chicken with yogurt, spices, and salt.
Step 2: Cook rice until 70% done.
Step 3: Fry onions until golden.
Step 4: Cook marinated chicken in a pan.
Step 5: Layer rice over chicken and add fried onions.
Step 6: Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
Step 7: Mix gently and serve hot.
