About the Course

BAMS is an undergraduate degree based on Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine. The course duration is about 5.5 years including internship. Students study herbal medicine, Ayurvedic principles, anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic practices like Panchakarma. The course combines ancient medical knowledge with modern scientific approaches.

Graduates can work as Ayurvedic doctors, open their own clinics, or join wellness centers and research organizations. With increasing global interest in natural and holistic treatments, BAMS graduates have growing opportunities. Higher studies like MD in Ayurveda can further enhance career prospects.
